In 1942 Casablanca during WWII, Max Vatan (Brad Pitt), a French-Canadian intelligence officer, meets French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard), on a deadly mission behind enemy lines.

They fall in love while working together on a mission to kill a German official, and afterwards Max convinces Marianne to come with him to London to marry him. She does and the happy couple soon have a child together. However, their relationship is threatened by the pressures of war, especially when Max is told that Marianne may be a Nazi spy. He's given 72 hours to find out the truth, and if the suspicions are true, he's ordered to execute her or be hanged himself.

Bad Santa 2

But this time, they're joined by Willie's equally wicked mother, Sunny Soke (Kathy Bates). Meanwhile, Willie is infatuated with the curvaceous and prim Diane (Christina Hendricks), who unlike Willie, has a heart of gold. She also happens to be the charity director of the charity he plans on scamming, which throws a wrench into his plans.

A brilliant but arrogant neurosurgeon named Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) has a horrific car accident when he pays attention to texting on his cell rather than concentrate on the winding road. His car goes over the side and crashes. Although his life is saved, when he wakes up in the hospital, he finds he has serious nerve damage to his hands and can no longer work as a doctor.

When Strange is given a tip from someone who survived a similar accident, he goes on a quest for a miracle cure and finds a mystical and mysterious sorcerer called the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton). She teaches him to put his massive ego aside and instead, give himself over to the mystical arts in order to defend the world against evil.

He was the only American soldier in WWII to fight on the front lines without a weapon, and also became the first Conscientious Objector in American history to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. He was presented with the award by President Harry Truman.

In addition to the brutal Okinawa battle, Desmond demonstrated bravery, compassion and heroism during attacks in Guam and the Philippines.

Ten years later, Chiron, now referred to as Black (Trevante Rhodes), is a changed man on the outside. He looks tough but is still the same emotional kid. Old feelings come back when he reunites with Kevin (Andre Holland).

And things really start to heat up when Hughes puts a ring on Marla's finger.
